DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Four cars were burglarized and a catalytic converter was stolen, according to the Downers Grove Police Department's blotter for the last week of October and the start of November.

2 Cars Burglarized in 5800 block of Dearborn Parkway

A resident told police someone burglarized their Nissan Rogue and Subaru Forester sometime between 10 p.m. Oct. 30 and 7 a.m. Oct. 31. They reported $30 in cash stolen from the vehicles, which had been left unlocked.

Car Burglarized in 6400 block of Woodward Avenue

An unlocked Mazda CX-5 was burglarized at the above address sometime between 3 p.m. Oct. 30 and 5:06 a.m. Oct. 31. Police say items were stolen from the car's center console, including a driver's license, debit and credit cards and cash.

Car Burglarized in 2100 block of Prentiss Drive

A resident told police their car was burglarized sometime between 12 p.m. Oct. 28 and 12 p.m. Nov. 1 while they were out of town. They reported Apple AirPods, diamond stud earrings and a black Apple Watch had been stolen from the vehicle.

Catalytic Converter Stolen in 5300 block of Walnut Avenue

A catalytic converter was cut from a Toyota Prius parked in a lot at the above address sometime between 10 p.m. Oct. 25 and 8 a.m. Oct. 26. The total loss was valued at $3,000.
