Car Reported Stolen From Home In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are investigating a car theft that took place in the 7400 block of Winwood Avenue. The car was stolen sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning, according to a police report.

The victim told police she parked her blue 2017 Chevy Cruze in the lot of the apartment complex she lives in around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. When she went to take out the trash the next morning around 9:40 a.m., she noticed the car was gone.

Police say there were no signs of shattered glass or other such evidence at the scene.
