Car Stolen From Driveway Of Downers Grove Home

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are investigating an incident in which a car was stolen from a resident's driveway. The theft took place early Wednesday in the 5400 block of Brookbank, according to a police report.

The victim told police that he got back from business trip just after midnight Saturday and found his car, a gray 2010 Dodge Avenger, was still parked in the driveway. When he came back outside around 8 a.m., he discovered the car had been stolen.

According to police, the car had been left unlocked with its keys inside.
