Car Stolen From Driveway In Downers Grove: Police
Police say the car was reported stolen May 30 from a home in the 400 block of Roe Court.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove police are investigating a car theft that took place in the 400 block of Roe Court. The resident told police that her white 2017 Honda Civic was stolen sometime between May 29 and May 30.
According to police, the resident said she left the car unlocked with her purse inside around 2:30 p.m. on May 29.
She told police she was woken up by someone ringing her doorbell around 8:30 a.m. the following day. When she checked the door, her purse was on the porch, but no one was there, she told police. It was at that time she noticed her car was gone.

Police say a debit card and credit card were missing from the purse. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Downers Grove Police Department at 630-434-5600.
