Car Stolen In Westmont, Found In Harvey: Police

WESTMONT, IL — Westmont police are investigating an incident in which an unlocked car was stolen from a driveway. The car theft took place in the 800 block of Oakwood Avenue on Dec. 17.

According to police, the car had been left unlocked and with the keys inside when it was stolen sometime between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. The car was located in Harvey the following day.

Residents are reminded to keep their vehicles locked at all times and to keep valuables out of sight. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Westmont Police Department at 630-981-6300.
