Cars Burglarized At XSport, Good Samaritan In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Cars were burglarized at XSport Fitness and Good Samaritan Hospital, according to the most recent Downers Grove police blotter.

Car Burglarized at XSport Fitness

On Feb. 13, police were called to the XSport Fitness at 1300 75th St. for a report of a vehicle burglary. A client told police they went into the gym around 2 p.m. and returned to their locked car around 4 p.m. to find their windows partially rolled down. After leaving the gym, they discovered that their wedding ring and Rolex watch were missing from the car's center console and $3,600 was missing from their jacket.

Car Burglarized at Good Samaritan Hospital

Police say someone burglarized a car while it was parked in the lot at Good Samaritan Hospital on Feb. 14. The victim contacted police just after 4 p.m. to report that someone had gotten into their car and taken a bag that contained their Macbook. The total loss was valued at $3,367.

The incidents took place less than a week after a car was stolenfrom the parking lot of Hampton Inn Suites.
