DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Cash was stolen from a locker, wheel caps were stolen from a car and other crimes were reported on the most recent blotter from Downers Grove police.

Wheel Caps Stolen from Car

Wheel caps were stolen from a rental car while it was parked in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive. Police say a resident parked the car in the lot around 10 p.m. on June 14. When they returned to the car around 2 p.m. on June 15, the wheel caps had been stolen from each of the tires.

Luggage Cart Stolen

Police say someone stole a handmade cart from Fishel Park on June 18. The victim told police they were at Fishel Park around 11:30 a.m. metal detecting when someone stole their cart from under a tree. The cart, which contained a bag with headphones and other items, was valued at $200.

Cash Stolen from Gym Locker

According to police, someone stole $200 cash from a wallet that was inside a locker at a gym at 3551 Highland Ave. in Downers Grove.
