Champagne, Lotto Tickets Nabbed From Gas Station In Downers Grove
Someone stole items from the BP on 75th Street, according to the village's most recent crime blotter.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A man stole champagne, lottery tickets and other items from a gas station in Downers Grove, according to a recent crime blotter from the village's police department.
On July 4, police received a call from a man who said he was at home when he observed surveillance camera footage of the theft at the BP at 1200 75th St. The incident took place just after 2:10 a.m., per the police report.
The following items were listed as stolen:

- Eight Illinois Lottery tickets
- Two packs of Trident gum
- One bottle of Belaire champagne
- One bottle of Barefoot wine
- One hat
According to police, the man, who was not identified in the police report, fled the scene in a silver SUV.
