At First Congregational United Church of Christ in Downers Grove.
As the Sunday School year winds down for the upcoming summer season, First Congregational Church of Downers Grove wants to recap some highlights from this year. With the changes that have been made, they are seeing tremendous growth within the Ministry. The Young Explorers Club, members aged birth to 6th grade, have gained new friendships with their immediate ages as well as friendships with their Adult Explorers. Their attendance for all classes is growing, with new families coming each month. Each class has created names signifying itself as an Explorer of their Faith. The children who received their Bibles recently were very excited to use them right away!
Please register your children so they can put them on classroom rosters for now and for the 2023 -2024 school year. This helps keep records accurate and ensures all children will receive their personal Bible in the respective year! Please feel free to come and visit anytime. First Congregational United Church of Christ in Downers Grove's mission is to connect people with God and one another to serve, live, and love - guided by Christ.
