Election Day is nearly here, and voters are lining up in record numbers around the block to cast their votes. In an effort to help the time pass while folks are waiting in lines at the polls - or waiting for the results - Scribd is opening up its digital library of over a million premium ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and much more, for FREE to everyone in the U.S. headed to the polls this week.
Available from October 30 through November 4, anyone who creates a new Scribd account will receive 30 days of free access to the platform (beginning on the day they sign up). Scribd’s goal is to be a resource for entertainment and information - whether it’s an informative article discussing key election topics, a calming ebook to escape recent stress, or a favorite funny audiobook to make you laugh. Users will not be required to enter their credit card information to sign up for Scribd during the eligibility period.
Scribd’s library includes endless quality content from the leading authors, storytellers, journalists, activists, business leaders, and more, and the company looks forward to serving as a resource for information and entertainment for all Americans leading up to Election Day.
