“Technology has impacted teaching and learning dramatically over the years, and high school is a very different experience for our students today than it was in the past,” says Dr. Hank Thiele, superintendent of District 99. “With the input of our Board of Education, staff and community, we have identified areas for improvement and modernization at both schools, and now need the community’s help to shape the next phase of our plans.”
Developing a Master Facility Plan was incorporated into the district’s strategic plan in 2010, when community participants identified concerns about school facilities.
