District 99 To Present Master Facilities Plan On Facebook Live

Superintendent Thiele will present the plan and answer questions during the live event on Feb. 6.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL -- After months of planning, District 99 will share its final master facilities plan with the public in a special Facebook live event hosted by Superintendent Dr. Hank Thiele. Parents, students, and staff will get to see what's in store for Downers Grove North and South High Schools and will have a chance to ask Thiele questions during the Feb. 6 presentation.

District officials and designers working on the master facilities plan officially presented the final vision of the project to the District 99 Board of Education on Jan. 14. In a news release, Thiele said he was "looking forward to" getting the community's feedback on the plans.

The District 99 master facilities plan aims to make both high schools in Downers Grove more inclusive and accessible for students, in addition to upgrading features that will improve the safety of students, according to district documents.
