Downers Grove Police Arrest Juveniles for Recent Rash of Vandalism

Two juveniles have been arrested in connection to a recent rash of vandalism in Downers Grove.

They acknowledged their involvement in 10 incidents of property damage over the past two weeks, mostly in the northwest part of the village, according the Village of Downers Grove.

The vandalism included tire slashings and damage done to basketball nets and a trampoline.

Downers Grove Police Chief Robert A. Porter commended the officers who patrolled the neighborhood and led the investigation that resulted in the arrests.
