Downers Grove 2018 Trick-Or-Treat Times, Halloween Activities

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and other supernatural creatures will be tiptoeing through the streets of Downers Grove for the village's annual Halloween celebration. Before trick-or-treating begins on Oct. 31, kids can get into the spirit of the season by taking part in other fun Halloween activities throughout Downers Grove.

Oct. 20 Living Cemetery

Head to the Main Street Cemetery between 10 a.m. an 12 p.m. to see an eerie educational event that brings out historical re-enactments from the village's past.

Oct. 27 Hotel Transylvania 3, Costume Contest At Tivoli Theatre

Kids can don their best Dracula getup and other eerie attire on Oct. 27 to attend a free showing of Hotel Transylvania 3 at Tivoli Theatre. The event, presented by Baird and Warner, kicks off with registration for a costume contest at 9 a.m. before awards are presented at 10 a.m. At 11 a.m., grab a seat to watch Hotel Transylvania 3 on the big screen.

Oct. 28 Downtown Downers Grove Trick-or-Treating

Shops in downtown Downers Grove will hand out candy and other goodies to trick-or-treaters on Oct. 28 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Before trick-or-treaters go from store to store collecting candy, they can visit the Lions Club Halloween Party at 12 p.m. in Fishel Park.

Oct. 31 Trick-Or-Treat Times In Downers Grove

There are no set trick-or-treat times in Downers Grove, but the village encourages trick-or-treaters to head out during daytime hours to promote safety.
