Downers Grove Harvest Fest
Join the Downers Grove Park District for a full-day festival!
The Chilympics Chili Cook-off has expanded into a full-day festival with food, live music, a craft fair, children’s activities, a beer garden and fun for the entire family! The NEW Harvest Fest will take place on October 1 from 10am to 7pm, located at Fishel Park.
DJ Coach Josh will kick off the day at 10:00am with music and dancing, along with the opening of the Craft Fair, Pumpkin Patch Children’s Area, food vendors, and the official start of our Chili and Salsa cook-offs. Our beer garden will open at 11:00am, sponsored by Emmett’s Brewing Co; the Official Beverage Provider for the Fall Fest, followed by live music from on stage at 12:30pm from The Hat Guys. Enjoy tasting samples the delicious chili and salsas of local cooks, a bags tournament, cider and activities throughout the rest of the afternoon. Be sure to stick around for when 7th Heaven takes the stage to rock the night away!
