Downers Grove Memorial Day Parade Schedule, Office Closures
The Downers Grove Memorial Day Parade begins at 10:45 a.m. at Burlington and Main, followed by a ceremony at Fishel Park.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — American flags will be held high on Monday as veterans and residents march in the annual Downers Grove Memorial Day Parade. This year, the parade is set to kick off at 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Burlington and Main Street.
Residents can watch colorful floats cruise by and kids can catch candy as the parade heads south on Main Street from Burlington to Fishel Park. The Downers Grove Memorial Day Celebration will take place at Fishel Park at 11 a.m.
The entire event will feature live music and food vendors and it’s a great way to honor veterans and bond with the community.

Just a reminder that the majority of village offices will be closed May 29 in observance of Memorial Day. Trash collection will be one day later than normal and the usual Friday trash collection will take place on Saturday.
