To celebrate its 40th reunion, the class of 1979 shared a gift to help with the school's master facility renovation.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove North class of 1979 celebrated its 40th high school reunion by making a generous donation to the school. Just after the class's reunion in October, close to 50 members gave funds for the monetary gift, which totaled $5, 039.
The funds will be used to help make improvements to the high school, specifically to add benches throughout the campus as part of the school's ongoing master facility renovation.
In a press release, Class of 1979 President Laurie Caputo said, "Our class has fond memories of our time at North High during the late 1970’s -- we wanted to commemorate our years and our success by giving something back."
