Downers Grove North Graduate Returns with Premiere Choral Group
Downers Grove North Graduate, Ben McCrimmon, joins the premiere choral group of Concordia University Chicago, in concert in Downers Grove.
The premier choral performance ensemble of Concordia University Chicago, the Kapelle, will present a concert in Downers Grove as one of the last stops on their 10-concert spring tour. Conducted by Dr. Charles Brown, this select voice choir tours annually throughout the U.S. as well as internationally every four years, and records regularly.
Downers Grove North, and Herrick Middle School graduate, Ben McCrimmon, is a senior member of the Kapelle. Ben has participated in music his whole life growing up in Downers Grove, including in the Downers Grove Children's Choir, and the Chamber Choir at Downers North High School. He is now a senior theology major at Concordia, with a music scholarship, and is headed to Concordia Fort Wayne Seminary in the fall to continue his education.
All are welcome to this FREE concert to be held on Sunday March 11 at 4 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church 5211 Carpenter Street in Downers Grove.
