Downers Grove North Trojans sweep Wheaton Academy Thanksgiving Tournament for the second time in a row.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove North boys basketball team achieved a milestone Saturday when they won the Wheaton Academy Thanksgiving Tournament for the second year in a row. The team secured its victory by defeating St. Francis High School 59-41.
The Downers Grove North Trojans have emerged undefeated in every match of the eight they've played in the Wheaton Academy Thanksgiving Tournament in the past two years.
Saturday's game against the St. Francis Spartans was largely carried by Sema'j Henderson, who scored 15 points, according to a Tweet from the Downers Grove North basketball program. Ryan Force also scored a memorable free throw towards the end of the third period.

The game was close in the first quarter, with Downers Grove leading by just a point, according to Twitter updates, but the Trojans closed in to secure their second sweep of the tournament in two years.
