The beautiful and varied sights of California will be on display as the Downers Grove Friends of the Library (FOL) inaugurates its new season of travel slide programs with “California Dreaming” on Friday, September 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Meeting room at the Downers Grove Library, 1050 Curtiss Street.
Presented by Naperville resident Jeffrey Bockman, the program will feature travel slides showing California in all its glory, from Lake Tahoe and Yosemite to San Francisco and down the coast to San Diego.
Admission is free and refreshments will be served. No reservation is required.
