The Senior Suburban Orchestra will perform a concert for family and friends of its members on Saturday, April 21 at 2:00 PM.  The public is also invited to attend.  The concert will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 5211 Carpenter Street in Downers Grove.  Tickets are not required, but an offering will be taken.

The program will include the overture to Leone Sinigaglia’s The Quarrelsome Folk of Chioggia, Richard Rodgers’s Victory at SeaTales from the Vienna Woods by Johann Strauss Jr, and an audience sing-along specially arranged for the Senior Suburban Orchestra.

The Senior Suburban Orchestra is in its twelfth season.  Normally it performs at retirement homes, schools, and meetings of various business, religious, and social organizations.  This will be its first scheduled concert open to the general public.
