Books are made available one month before each discussion. Discussions take place in the second floor conference room. Five-year-old Jack has lived his entire life held captive in a single 11' by 11' room that he shares with his mother. Ma has tried to create a normal reality for her son by reading to him, watching TV, and playing games. With coaching from his mother, Jack escapes from their captor and brings help to rescue her. Now Jack and his mother must adjust to a drastically different world.
