Wine lovers, aficionados and amateurs alike are invited to
uncork the beginning of the week at Mon Ami Gabi Oak Brook (260 Oakbrook Center) alongside Lincoln Park mainstay Café Ba-Ba-Reeba, on Tuesday, August 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lettuce Wine Club Tasting.
Leave the research to the tasting team, who tries hundreds
of wines each year, to present the very best at the most affordable of price points. Your job is simply to sip and savor the many tastes of France and Spain, while exploring what piques your palate. Wine experts Juan Barrenechea
and Amy Barrile from Café Ba-Ba-Reeba and Mon Ami Gabi respectively will be on hand to answer any questions and lend you wino wisdom. Find a new favorite varietal you just can’t live without? Thankfully you can order bottle(s) of
your favorite wines as you discover them.
To make for one delicious night all around, perfectly paired
small bites from the favorite French Bistro including Charentais Melon wrapped with Bayonne Ham and Tomato and Roquefort Canapes, as well as Halibut Croquettas with lemon capers and Tartine of Thyme-Roasted Lamb Loin with gypsy pepper compote courtesy of Spanish dining destination Café Ba-Ba-Reeba, will be up for the taking.
