Holy Trinity Church and Heritage of Faith Present One Night Event
Contemporary Christian music performer Audrey Assad brings her powerful deep lyrics to the Tivoli Theatre on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at 7PM. This one night only performance will feature special guest Larry LaLonde and his small group ensemble. The Tivoli Theatre is located at 5021 Highland Ave. in downtown Downers Grove, IL. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children age 17 and younger. All proceeds will benefit the Heritage of Faith Fundraising Initiatives. Advance tickets can be purchased weekdays between 9 AM and 5 PM at Holy Trinity Church, 111 S. Cass Avenue in Westmont.
Singer-songwriter Audrey Assad is a Christian music artist of Catholic faith. At the age of two, she began playing piano, and today, her musical career has taken off. Assad has worked and toured with other contemporary Christian music artists such as Chris Tomlin and Matt Maher. In 2009, Assad signed with Sparrow Records, and a year later, she released her first album, The House You’re Building, which was Amazon.com’s “Best Album of 2010” in the Christian Music category and soon reached #12 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. Also upon the album’s release, Assad became the best selling new artist in the Christian Music category of 2010 according to SoundScan.
