WOODRIDGE, IL — A Naperville family recently launched an initiative to raise $100,000 in support of West Suburban Community Pantry. As part of their Hand Up Fund, Nick and Teresa Ryan have pledged to match donations to the pantry by 50 percent over a period of 100 days.

“The Hand Up Fund is designed to help people get back on their feet and relieve some of the stress that comes from not being able to properly feed their children,” Nick Ryan said in a news release.

He continued, “Teresa and I are pleased to be able to offer clients not a handout, but a hand up. Providing people with food can help them afford the shelter, healthcare and childcare they need to re-enter the workforce.”
