FBI Seeks Man Who Robbed Banks In Downers Grove, Plainfield

The FBI is offering a reward for the arrest of a man who robbed banks in Downers Grove, Plainfield, and Streamwood.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The FBI is asking the public for help finding a man who is accused of robbing three separate banks in Downers Grove, Plainfield, and Streamwood. The robberies took place between June 17 and June 24, according to a news release.

Police believe the suspect is linked with the following robberies:

June 17: BMO Harris Bank at 15101 South Route 59 in Plainfield at around 3:41 p.m.

June 20: Byline Bank at 535 Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove at 1:17 p.m.

June 24: BMO Harris Bank at 185 West Irving Park Road in Streamwood at 1:18 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male between 25 and 35 years of age who stands between 5'7" and 6' tall. He was last seen wearing a dark gray sweatshirt, baggy gray or white sweatpants, and a black baseball cap. He also had a bandaid on each of his cheeks, authorities say.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI's Chicago Field Office at 312-421-6700 and may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
