Fireworks In Urinal, Porta Potty On Roof: Downers Grove Blotter

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Fireworks were lit in a urinal, a Porta Potty was put on a roof and other incidents were reported on the most recent blotter from the Downers Grove Police Department.

Fireworks Lit in Bathroom at Whitlock Park

Police say someone ignited fireworks in the toilet, urinal and sink in a men's bathroom at Whitlock Park, 4001 Fairview Ave. A soap dispenser was also damaged in the incident, which took place around 9 p.m. on July 2.

Porta Potty Put on Roof of School

Someone removed a Porta Potty from the baseball field at a park located at 2455 Warrenville Rd. and put it on the roof of a school. Police say the incident happened between June 30 and July 2.

Catalytic Converters Stolen from Car in 1200 Block of Ogden Avenue

Catalytic converters were cut from three cars that were parked in the 1200 block of Ogden Avenue sometime between June 30 and July 2. The total loss was valued at $9,000.
