Free Job Assistance Classes at Local Area Libraries

Visit the Downers Grove or Westmont libraries for job search classes

People's Resource Center is partnering this fall with two local libraries to present workshops that assist unemployed and underemployed DuPage neighbors in their job search.

Job Coaches and volunteers from the PRC’s Job Assistance program share their knowledge with job seekers through hands on workshops at the Downers Grove library and Westmont library.

The public is invited to these free events and no registration is required.

Upcoming workshops at Downers Grove Library include:

  • Cool Tools for Your Job Search Thursday, October 11 10am – 11:30am
  • T-Factor Connection (Using experience, skills and knowledge to fit target job requirements.) Wednesday, October 17 7:00pm – 8:30pm
  • Master the Phone Interview Tuesday, November 13 10:00am – 11:30am
  • Multi-Generational Communication Monday, November 19 7:00pm – 8:30pm
