Fresh Thyme Farmers Market Hosts Grand Opening
Events at the grocery store are scheduled throughout the week of April 29.
Fresh Thyme Farmers Market will celebrate its grand opening April 29 by giving away $50 in free groceries to the first 250 shoppers through the door at the Downers Grove store, located at 325 Ogden Avenue.
The grand opening will also include children’s activities, live entertainment and an “opening day shopping experience,” according to a news release.
“Fresh Thyme is passionate about making ‘local’ a focus of each store, from the products and produce to the people we staff,” said CEO Chris Sherrell in a statement. “Downers Grove is as local as it gets for Fresh Thyme as our first central support hub will be established here in May.”

Chamber630 participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony at 6:45 a.m., and doors will open at 7 a.m. Additional events are scheduled to continue throughout the week.
