
The Gentle Barn’s “Farm Animals React to Their Names” series has been named the 15th Annual Shorty Awards winner in the “Best Animal Video” category and were selected as finalists in the overall Video Series category.

The Shorty Awards honor the very best of digital and social media by the most innovative and influential brands, agencies, organizations and individuals whose work shows excellence in digital storytelling.
The Gentle Barn is a national farm animal sanctuary with approximately 200 rescued animals across locations in California, Tennessee, and Missouri. The non-profit houses and rehabilitates animals who are too old, sick, lame, abused, or neglected to be adopted elsewhere. When they are ready, The Gentle Barn partners with them to heal people with the same stories of neglect, abuse, and/or trauma.

“When people connect with our animals in person, they’re amazed by how gentle, smart and loving they are and they leave feeling inspired to live with more compassion themselves,” said Gentle Barn Co-Founder Jay Weiner. “Our outstanding social media team created this video series to foster the same connection and delight with people everywhere who cannot travel to one of our sanctuaries. We are honored to receive this Shorty Award and know that the recognition will spread the message of our video series even further.”
The 15th Annual Shorty Awards winners and honorees were announced on May 24th at a ceremony in New York City with more than 300 guests from all over the world. There weremany distinguished Real Time Academy members who attended the event.
