Grove Foundation helps 40 families with Holiday dinner

The Grove Foundation recently donated forty $25 Jewel Gift cards to the Downers Grove Area FISH Food Pantry, which will be used for their Thanksgiving Basket Program and their Christmas Gift Program. The gift cards can be redeemed at Jewel for a turkey or ham for the recipients’ holiday dinners. The two holiday FISH programs fill important needs for families in the community. Downers Grove Area FISH is a faith-based, all volunteer not for profit organization which serves people in need in Downers Grove, Lisle and Westmont with a food pantry, clothes closet, emergency rent and car repair assistance. The Grove Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that supports programs promoting educational, recreational and community experiences in Downer Grove.
