Handbell Ringers Perform at Seminar

On July 19, in Grand Rapids Michigan, the Chancel Ringers of First United Methodist Church Downers Grove will present an international hymn festival solo concert entitled, "When in our Music, God is Glorified!"

The location for the concert will be the historic and magnificent Fountain Street Church.

Our ringers were chosen by highly selective audition from other professional level handbell ensembles, to present the this full length concert for a large audience of handbell musicians assembled for National Seminar of the Handbell Musicians of America, being held in Grand Rapids.

Pastor Claude King will be accompanying the musicians to give spiritual leadership, prayers, and introductory readings for each hymn.
