Fighting for the hundreds of thousands of children around the globe who are in need of a safe, permanent home by awarding adoption grants.

Helpusadopt.org, which fights for the hundreds of thousands of children around the globe who are in need of a safe, loving, permanent home by awarding adoption grants, has the perfect Mother’s Day gift: bracelets that support hard-working families in overcoming the financial obstacles of adoption.

“We created the Helpusadopt.org bracelet in 2009 because we wanted to create a significant piece of jewelry that identified with our child welfare cause and brought our community together. The bracelet signifies love, hope and the dream of parenthood through adoption and is accented with a gold leaf signifying Family Tree no matter how your family is built,” said founder and President Becky Fawcett.

The stretch bracelets come in a variety of colors and bead sizes and prices range from $50-$100 per bracelet and were created as a seven-inch size. One hundred percent of the profits from bracelet sales are donated directly to the Helpusadopt.org grant program. The bracelets can be seen and purchased at helpusadopt.org/shop.

“If a bracelet could help someone else become a mom through adoption, how many would you buy?” Fawcett asked.

Helpusadopt.org was founded in 2007 by Becky and Kipp Fawcett as a response to their own personal adoption experience in an effort to make adoption more feasible for all families. The organization awards large, problem-solving and life-changing adoption grants up to $20,000. If a grant is awarded, funds are released to adoption professionals, such as adoption lawyers and adoption agencies, when an invoice is due.

The average adoption costs $43,000 and the median income in the United States is just under $36,000. The magnitude and uncertainty of these expenses is a significant obstacle to finding permanent homes for the millions of children around the world who need parents. Helpusadopt.org knocks down that financial obstacle and helps parents complete their families and children find their forever homes.

Since its founding, Helpusadopt.org has awarded more than $5.6 million in adoption grants and helped 608 families.
