Home Burglary Under Investigation In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are investigating a home burglary that took place in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive on April 21. The victim told police it appeared someone may have gotten in through her apartment window and stolen an iPad.

According to police, the victim said she left her iPad charging on a table in her room around 9 p.m. When she went back to her room, she said the blinds for the window were on the ground and the window and screen had been slid completely open.

She told police she noticed the iPad was missing and that the door to her room, which had been shut, was left open a little before she went in.
