How DuPage Libraries Are Taking Measures Against Coronavirus
As worries over coronavirus loom, local libraries are taking additional steps to help ensure public safety.

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — As threats of new coronavirus have reached a global pandemic, DuPage-area libraries are taking extra steps to ensure the health and safety of their patients. Public libraries are among the many places frequented by residents throughout the county that are moving forward with cancellations as well.
In an email, Naperville Public Library said it is taking "proactive steps" to increase its cleaning and sanitation, especially in areas that are used often. The children's area will get additional attention to detail on interactive toys that kids use and some toys, including soft puppets have been temporarily retired as worries over the virus loom.

DuPage Courthouse Suspends Weddings Amid Virus Concerns
The Downers Grove Public Library said via email that it is also taking "an abundance of caution" when cleaning and has taken similar measures to those outlined by the Naperville Public Library. The Downers Grove Library added that it is canceling a number of events and moving some events to larger rooms to limit the spread of germs.

- Sesame Street Puppet Show March 20
- How-To Festival March 21
