The District 58 Board of Education recently approved a bid to start work on the school's main playground.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL ā When students return to Kingsley Elementary School for the 2019-20 school year, they'll be treated to a revamped playground. Work is set to begin on the school's primary playground and will include the addition of more swings, along with new curbs, mulch, and fences.
In a post on Facebook, District 58 announced that the board of education recently approved a bid to work on the playground. The first phase will involve removing the current gravel and swingsets before adding mulch and more swings.
District officials say most of the initial work on the Kingsley playground will be funded by the district. An additional $2700 was contributed by the We Are Kingsley project and will be used to fund the playground's new fencing.
