Luxury Silk Store To Open In Downers Grove
Home Manor And Design Center's Nov. 28 grand opening will feature hors d'oeuvres, music, and a chance to win an international vacation.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove residents will soon be able to shop for handmade silks and imported fabrics downtown. Home and Manor Design Center is set to open its flagship store at 7325 Lemont Rd. Nov. 28.
Home and Manor Design Center will hold a grand opening event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday with live music, hors d'oeuvres, and door prizes. Prizes are set to include wine and dinner at local restaurants, pet photography, dance lessons and an international vacation for two. Mayor Martin Tully will be on hand for the ceremonial ribbon-cutting at 5:15 p.m. to kick off the festivities.
Since the grand opening falls on Giving Tuesday, Home and Manor Design Center will donate all of the proceeds from the event to benefit SEASPAR. The suggested donation is $25.
