Mail Carrier Credited With Saving Downers Grove Woman's Life: Report

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A mail carrier recently took steps that may have saved an elderly Downers Grove woman's life, according to ABC 7.
Kim Gillis became concerned after she noticed mail accumulating at the home of a woman in her 90s. Gillis informed a neighbor and another neighbor used a spare key to enter the home, where they found the woman lying injured after having fallen in her room roughly four days earlier.
The woman was taken to a rehabilitation facility to be treated for her injuries.
