Man Sought In Connection With Arson In Downers Grove: Police
Downers Grove police say to call 911 immediately if you see this man.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are asking for the public's help finding a man sought in connection with a suspected arson early Friday in the 1700 block of Virginia Avenue.
Police are seeking Robert Clauser, 52, in connection with the incident. Clauser is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and has dark hair. He was last seen leaving the scene of the fire wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a dark coat, police said.
In an update on Facebook, Downers Grove Mayor Bob Barnett said a “Secure Building and Teach" lockdown was in place for District 58 schools as a precaution. Parents who were planning to visit the schools should wait until further notice.

In addition, Downers Grove North High School was put on a soft lockdown as a precaution.
