'The Music Man' Opens At Downers Grove North March 12
The musical will be presented March 12, 13 and 14 at Downers Grove North.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The students at Downers Grove North will go back in time to follow the antics of con-man Harold Hill when they put on "The Music Man." The show runs March 12 through 14 and features a talented cast of students from Downers Grove North backed up by skilled musicians in the pit orchestra.
The show follows Billy Berberich in the role of Harold Hill as he tries to get locals in River City to buy his merchandise and start a band. Hill plans to skip town, but gets feelings for local librarian Marian Paroo, played by Renee Boone, that trip up his plans.
Tickets to "The Music Man" are $10 for adults, $5 for kids and no charge for District 99 students with a valid ID.
