Oak Park Cops Crash Into Each Other, Hit Trees While On Call

OAK PARK, IL— Two Oak Park police officers are currently hospitalized after they crashed their cars into each other early Thursday. The accident took place at approximately 4 a.m. while the officers were both responding to a call near the intersection of East and Adams Ave.

The force of the initial collision caused both cars to crash into trees, WGN reports. Both officers were rushed to a local hospital for treatment after they sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, According to WGN.

Oak Park Police are investigating the incident to see what caused the crash.
