Oakwood Construction Services Builds Johnnie-O Store in Wilmette

Oakwood Construction Services recently completed the construction of Johnnie-O’s new retail store at Plaza del Lago in Wilmette, marking the brand’s first standalone location in the Midwest.

The new store, at 1515 Sheridan Road, brings Johnnie-O’s premium lifestyle apparel and high-quality golf gear to the North Shore. The Chicago-area connection makes the location especially fitting, as Johnnie-O founder John O’Donnell grew up in the area.

Oakwood Construction Services served as the general contractor for the project, transforming the existing space into a boutique retail environment designed around the company’s distinctive aesthetic. The build-out included custom millwork, architectural display walls, integrated lighting and premium finishes, creating a warm and inviting space for customers.
