Outback Steakhouse Coming To Downers Grove In 2018

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Residents in Downers Grove will soon be able to get a taste of what it's like to dine "down under." Outback Steakhouse plans to open a restaurant in the Mainstreet Square Shopping Center at 2960 Finley Rd. in early 2018.

The restaurant will occupy 6,882 square feet of space in its Downers Grove location and construction is already underway as they gear up for the 2018 opening, Daily Herald reports. Outback Steakhouse will become a big draw at Mainstreet Square Shopping Center, which is also home to Kohl's, Duluth Trading Company, and Juicy-O's.

The menu will feature the usual Aussie-themed Outback Steakhouse fare, including Victoria's Filet® Mignon with bottomless shrimp, wood-fired salmon, and, of course, the beloved Bloomin' Onion® .

When the Outback Steakhouse opens in Downers Grove, it'll save diners a drive out to the Outback Steakhouse location that's already in Naperville. Outback Steakhouse isn't the only restaurant opening to look out for in 2018 in Downers Grove. Cadence Kitchen Co. and Pierce Tavern also plan to welcome diners early next year.
