Paint Store Windows For Halloween In Downtown Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Kids can get into the Halloween spirit early by helping paint store windows in downtown Downers Grove with colorful pumpkins, witches, bats, and other fall images. The Rotary Club of Downers Grove will hold its annual family-friendly Halloween Window Painting event on Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

To join in the festive fun, bring your kids ages kindergarten to 6th grade to Downers Grove Downtown Management or across from Ballydoyle Irish Pub bright and early, as spots are first come, first served. Families can paint any of the striped windows they choose either as individuals or in groups.

Paint will be provided by the Rotary Club while supplies last, but residents must bring brushes, water, towels, and other items. The Halloween Window Painting event is free, but those who attend are encouraged to bring canned goods to help support F.I.S.H. Pantry, a local organization that provides food and clothing to those in need.

When: Saturday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
