WESTMONT, IL — Westmont police, Amtrak, and BNSF are conducting an investigation after a person was fatally struck by a train near the Westmont station Saturday afternoon.

Police got to the scene just after 2:30 p.m. to find the victim deceased. Police say no further information is available at press time and the incident is still under investigation.
