DOWNERS GROVE, IL — As the search for a missing Downers Grove man continues, police and firefighters searched a retention pond Wednesday after an item of clothing was found nearby.

The pond is located in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, about two blocks from where police believe Mark Sadelski, was traveling. Sadelski was reported missing on Jan. 9 and has a condition that may put him in danger, according to Downers Grove Police.

Nothing was found in the pond during Wednesday's search, which was suspended due to "icy conditions" in the pond, a news release said.
