@properties Names Two New VPs Amid Rapid Suburban Expansion
Chicago-based @properties increases the depth of its management team as firm gears up for more growth in the western suburbs and North Shore
@properties, the largest residential brokerage firm in Chicagoland, has added two more industry veterans to its management team, as the firm continues its expansion throughout the region. Company co-founders Thad Wong and Mike Golden announced that Tamy Bobbitt has joined @properties as vice president of brokerage services in the western suburbs, while top-producing @properties agent Jorge Abreu has been named vice president of brokerage services in the firm’s Highland Park office.
“We see a lot of opportunity in the western suburbs and on the North Shore, where we already have a strong presence. Our management team is key to this growth. Both Tamy and Jorge have extensive experience and market knowledge, and they share a true commitment to helping their fellow agents be successful,” said Wong.
Bobbitt, 49, comes to @properties from Baird & Warner, where she spent the last decade of her 20-year real estate career. Initially a top-producing agent, Bobbitt most recently was assistant managing broker in Baird & Warner’s Downers Grove office. At @properties, she will be based in Hinsdale and eventually will lead a new office in the area, in a location to be announced soon.

Bobbitt’s hiring is the latest piece of @properties’ expansion initiative in the western suburbs, where the firm now has offices in Hinsdale, St. Charles, Western Springs, Oak Park and Elmhurst. She will work on growing the @properties brand throughout the region and will bring market-leading support, coaching and training to area agents.
A resident of Downers Grove, Bobbitt has lived in the western suburbs for over 25 years and has been involved in many aspects of the community. She consults pro bono for the Archdiocese, is a member of the community’s Historical Society, and is past president of the Women’s Council of REALTORS.

“Everything @properties does has an element of class to it. I had always heard about the company’s success in the city and northern suburbs and was impressed by their marketing, branding and culture. It’s a great fit for me and I’m excited to spread the @properties love in my hometown,” said Bobbitt.
Meanwhile on the North Shore, Abreu, 50, will oversee @properties’ Highland Park office. Abreu began his real estate career in 2008 and joined @properties in 2012 as one of the firm’s original Highland Park agents. He has lived in the community for more than 20 years and is a current member of the City of Highland Park Housing Commission.
“I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues in this new role and helping them achieve their personal goals,” said Abreu.
“Leadership at the local level is so important to us, and Tamy and Jorge are locals through and through. They have lived and worked in their communities for years and have great relationships with agents, making them the perfect additions to our management team,” said Golden.
In addition to Highland Park, @properties has North Shore offices in Winnetka, Wilmette, Lake Forest, Evanston, Glenview and Northbrook.
