Public Indecency Incidents Under Investigation In Downers Grove

Police say the driver of a white minivan exposed himself to pedestrians on two separate occasions.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are investigating two public indecency incidents that were reported Saturday. In both cases, police say the driver of a white minivan with black trim exposed himself to pedestrians, but did not exit his vehicle.

The first incident was reported near the intersection of Lee and Elmore Avenues around 11:25 p.m. The second incident was reported near the intersection of Hillcrest Road and Plymouth Street just after 12:35 p.m.

The driver was described as a heavyset white man approximately between 35 and 45 years old with light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue flannel shirt and blue jeans.

Police say the minivan was last seen heading north on Plymouth Street from Hillcrest Road.

In an update on Facebook, village officials said police have increased patrols in the area. Anyone who has additional information is urged to call 911.
