DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Items were stolen from Home Depot, a gym locker was burglarized and other incidents were reported on the most recent Downers Grove crime blotter.
Retail Theft at Home Depot
A man stole items from the Home Depot at 2000 Butterfield Road, according to the police blotter. Officers were called to the store around 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 for a report of a retail theft. Police a man had attempted to steal a power washer valued at $449.

License Plate Snagged from Car
Someone removed a license plate from a car that was parked in the 1000 block of 68th St. The resident told police they parked their car around 5 p.m. on Aug. 8. When they returned around 7 p.m. the following day, they found that the car's license plate had been removed.

Items Stolen from Locker at XSport Fitness
A gym member told police their Coach wallet had been stolen from a locker at the XSport Fitness located at 3200 Finley Rd. The wallet contained identification and credit/debit cards, the crime blotter said. The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 3.
