Retail Thefts Reported At Best Buy, Wannemaker's In Downers Grove
Items were stolen from two stores in Downers Grove and other crimes were reported on the village's most recent crime blotter.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Items were stolen from Best Buy and Wannemaker's Home and Garden in Downers Grove and other crimes were reported on the most recent blotter from the Downers Grove Police Department.
Retail Theft at Best Buy on Butterfield Road
Police were called to the Best Buy at 1432 Butterfield Rd. around 6 p.m. on Oct. 17 for a report of a retail theft. An employee told police a man stole a Sony camera that was valued at $2,699.99.

Retail Theft at Wannemaker's Home and Garden
A retail theft was reported at Wannemaker's Home and Garden, 1940 Ogden Ave., on Oct. 17. Police say a woman put items in her purse and left the store without paying for them.

Catalytic Converter Stolen from Car in 2600 Block of Warrenville Road
Someone stole a catalytic converter from a Mitsubishi Outlander while it was parked in a lot in the 2600 block of Warrenville Road on Oct. 17. The incident took place sometime between 11:45 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 17.
